A special shout-out to SY, my dear friend and fellow wannabe artist who presented me with the book "Handmade Hellos" for my birthday (see below).
The book contains a bunch of templates and directions for card making...so much to be inspired by! I translated the "pop-up birdie hello" on p.31 into a thank you card. I didn't quite follow the directions to make it into an actual card, but that's coming...for now, this digital rendition will suffice.
